A day off...

The thing I like best about being in Kansas and working for the school here is that we are out of school all the time. Actually its not that great because we do have to make it up. But today is one of those days that we have off. The Tulsa State Fair is going on and we have a day set aside to go. Nice huh? Althought we are not going this year.

We lost a very dear friend of our a few days ago. He lost his battle with cancer. Even though Mack was 82 he acted like a kid. Always laughing and making jokes. He was very special to me. He was also one of Jimmy's best friends. They always had a lot to talk about. Mack would talk to anyone! He was amazing. His service will be tomorrow. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Yes, Amy Mack was one of a kind. He will be missed but he is no longer in pain. He was a good example to us all. Our duty now it to do all we can for Sharon so she can be back with us. I miss her beautiful voice when we sing. Thanks to God for you and your family. I know things are rough sometimes, but that makes us appreciate the good days. love ya
